Please join us on Sunday, Nov. 6th for our welcome back bagel and lox breakfast and our new member open house. At this breakfast, Rabbi Gurevitz will be our featured speaker, and will lead us in a discussion about Science and Religion: what our members tell us about their beliefs, and why it matters. This should be an interesting and lively discussion that you won’t want to miss! Additional brotherhood breakfast dates include Jan. 22 and Mar. 19.
This course is being co-sponsored and jointly taught by the clergy of Congregation B’nai Shalom, Beth Tikvah Synagogue, and Temple Emanuel-Sinai. 2016 classes will be held at Congregation B’nai Shalom and 2017 classes will be held at Temple Emanuel-Sinai in Worcester. It is designed for all who wish to learn more about Judaism, or get a refresher on the basics. It is for Jews and non-Jews, members and non-members of the sponsoring congregations. The course can provide a foundation for those interested in conversion to Judaism, when accompanied with additional learning and practice as determined with your sponsoring rabbi.
