The scrip program is the most pain-free fundraiser ever. You pay the synagogue money you would already spend on groceries, books, or home maintenance items. In exchange, you get a gift card for the amount you purchase. B'nai Shalom earns a percentage of the proceeds of our sales.

Is scrip for other merchants available?
Yes! You can order over 800 different kinds of scrip! Download the form from this website and turn it in with payment at the office, or sign up with shopwithscrip.com to order on-line. Many area restaurants are available and some earn the temple 10% or more!
How can I sign up to order scrip on-line?
Go to the shopwithscrip.com website. Follow the links to register. Use the enrollment code 3431EFE28L66 to link your purchases to B'nai Shalom. It is suggested that you copy the code from here and paste it in when asked so as to make sure that the profits are directed to B'nai Shalom.
Will the scrip be delivered to my house?
No! You will still have to pick up the scrip at the temple.
Can I pay on-line?
Not yet. We're working on that. For the time being, the only way to pay is via check, cash or debit card at the temple.
Where and when can I purchase the in-stock scrip?
Scrip can be purchased at the scrip table during religious school hours on Sunday morning, or at the temple office during office hours.
Can I pay with a credit card?
We currently accept payment via cash, check, and debit card. Due to credit card surcharges of 2%, we have not accepted credit cards in the past, although we have had several people who have voluntarily asked us to add the 2% onto the amount we charge their card (i.e. you pay $102 for a $100 card so that Congregation B'nai Shalom earns the full discount).
Can I volunteer to help with the scrip program?
If you would like to volunteer to sell scrip at the table on Sunday mornings, particularly during the early session (8:30 to 10:30) please contact .
Helping the scrip program counts as community service time for the B'nai Mitzvot. We ask that a parent or responsible adult accompany any B'nai Mitzvot students working at the scrip table.
Can I have payments automatically debited to my checking account?
We can automatically debit your checking account and will have your cards waiting for you on Sunday or during office hours for you to pick up. Now you don't have to remember your wallet or checkbook!
