Community Connections lie at the heart of Congregation B’nai Shalom. We seek ways of enabling people to connect with each other at every Festival gathering, every aspect of our education and Youth programming, the social justice and volunteering opportunities we provide to make a difference in our wider community, and the cultural events we offer throughout the year.
While we hope you find many ways to connect with each other at Congregation B’nai Shalom, through the many opportunities found in our calendar of events, in this section, we highlight:
- – Opportunities to connect when we come together to perform Mitzvot together. Mitzvot, typically translated as ‘commandments’, derived from Jewish tradition are, in essence, a way to connect more deeply with others in community and with a Higher Good.
- – Opportunities to connect for social and cultural gatherings through our Congregation B’nai Shalom affiliate Sisterhood and Brotherhood.
- – A few local Jewish resources and agencies in our local area.
