Please mark your calendar for Congregation B’nai Shalom’s blood drive on Sunday November 1, from 8:30 am – 1:30 pm.
The blood drive is held in cooperation with the Worcester Area American Red Cross.
We’re holding this event during school hours in order to make giving blood easy and convenient for parents dropping off or picking up their children. However, it is open to the general public, and we encourage all congregants and their families and friends to participate.
Anyone who is 17 or older, in good health, weighing 110 pounds or more, and has not given blood in the past 56 days may donate. A positive ID is required.
Please make an appointment for giving blood, Although walk-ins are welcome, donors are encouraged to make an appointment by calling 1-800-GIVE-LIFE (1-800-448-3543). Having an appointment will greatly speed up the process for you and other donors.
Heading into the holiday season, the need for blood donations is critical.
CBS’s semi-annual blood drives have been enormously successful. Please join us for this important Mitzvah.
