From Sunday, January 21 through Thursday, January 26, I will be attending the annual gathering of my professional organization, the Association of Reform Jewish Educators, otherwise known as the ARJE. This year the attendees at the ARJE Annual Gathering, through workshops, keynotes, and conversations with colleagues, will reflect on “Using the Power of Radical Thinking to Transform Jewish Education.” We will use our time together to reflect on what we experience during the gathering, connect with colleagues, and create solutions to big questions in Jewish Education.
The ARJE Annual Gathering in Seattle will offer:
Presentations and workshops with a variety of experienced and qualified professionals
Professional development and study opportunities with ARJE colleagues and national experts
Creative and meaningful Tefilah (prayer) experiences
Unparalleled networking with colleagues and the chance to make new friends
Opportunities to get involved in the work of the ARJE
The chance to renew and refresh personally and professionally
I am grateful to the congregation for providing me the opportunity to attend what I hope will be a helpful and meaningful national conference.
