High Holy Days

Welcome to the 2017/5778 High Holy Days information page

Over Rosh Hashanah (the Jewish New Year) and Yom Kippur (the Day of Atonement), Congregation B’nai Shalom provides opportunities for meaningful worship for all ages.  Our High Holy Day Calendar page contains a complete schedule of High Holy Day services, as well as links to sign up for festival meals. Information about requesting additional seating cards, both for CBS members and non-members, can be found on our High Holy Day Seating page.

We rely on the helping hands of a great many of our members during the High Holy Days. You can volunteer to be a service participant, and we ask all who are physically able to participate in the mitzvah of welcoming to volunteer as an usher or parking lot greeter via our online forms.

At this time of year, there are also opportunities to perform the mitzvah of tzedakah (charity) by donating to our High Holy Day Appeal, or remembering a loved one in our Yizkor Memorial Book.

Detailed information about the High Holy Days services and programs is available in our High Holy Days 5778 Bulletin.

We look forward to celebrating and observing these holiest of days with you.
