A Tale of Love and Darkness (2015)

Directed by Natalie Portman, this film is based on the autobiographical novel of the same name by Israeli author Amos Oz. The film takes place during the final years of the British Mandate and the birth of the State of Israel in 1948. Film run-time is 90 minutes.   Click for NY Times Review

The Gatekeepers (2012)

Documentary. Film tells the story of the Israeli internal security service, Shin Bet, from the perspective of six of its former heads. The film combines in-depth interviews, archival footage, and computer animation to recount the role that the group played in Israel’s security from the Six-Day War to the present. Walk on Water (2004)

Drama. Eyal is an agent in the Mossad, the Israeli security service. He is a hitman who targets enemies of Israel. The agency decides that he needs to take on a new assignment: to find an aging Nazi war criminal and get him “before God does.” Film run-time is 100 minutes. Click for NY Times Review
