Being a member of Congregation B’nai Shalom means being part of a caring community. That includes having friends to relax with. Maybe you’re new to the area… or maybe you already have friends to watch a movie with, but are looking for people to go on day trips or to dinner with. It’s easy to find others with a common interest when you are part of a big community. Fill out the form below, and we will help you connect with others with a similar interest. If you have an idea for another group, let us know that too. And, if you’d like to do and are willing to help plan it, here’s how it works:
- First check the date with the office — please, no dates on Friday evenings, Saturday mornings, during CBS community-wide events, and certain holidays.
- Send an email to the group, and if you have enough of a response to have the event, send an email (by noon Tuesday) to email@example.com so it gets into the Wednesday Weekly Connections and on the calendar. You can also send info to firstname.lastname@example.org for the Bulletin (by the 10th of the month to get into the next month)
- Please list yourself to receive RSVPs not the group email. (RSVPs should not go to the group email.)
- At this time, most of the events are just for members of Congregation B’nai Shalom. If a non-member wants to come, please clear it through Karen Rothman. Non-members are welcome to attend events open to the general community.
Please fill out the form for each adult in your household. When the form is complete, you’ll have the option to return and fill it out again for a second person.
