Turn Shavuot Green!

Shavuot celebrates the first fruits of the season, as well as the giving of Torah on Mt. Sinai. It is customary to decorate the sanctuary and the home with flowers on Shavuot.

You can help turn our sanctuary green, and make B'nai Shalom a little more beautiful, by bringing plants to our Shavuot service on June 8. Following the holiday, we'll plant your flowers in the gardens around our building. Bring in your potted plants before services, or during the preceding week.
