The Rabbi Search Committee is comprised of a diverse group of volunteers who have come together to review candidates and recommend a new Rabbi for Congregation B’nai Shalom. Brief biographies of our committee members may be found here.

There are few occasions in the life of a congregation that are as important and far reaching as the selection of a new Rabbi. As a congregation, our decisions are likely to shape Congregation B’nai Shalom for many years to come.

We believe the search process is much more than simply reviewing resumes and interviewing candidates. Rather it is a process that requires us to work closely together in attempting to find a spiritual leader who is the best fit for the congregation. Navigating through this transition will be an awesome responsibility, as well as a great opportunity for the B’nai Shalom community to come together around a shared goal.
