Selichot Saturday September 17 7:00-9:00 pm

 Selichot - in the Sanctuary
Join Rabbi Gurevitz and Cantorial Soloist Sharon Brown Goldstein as they explore some of the meaning and message of the High Holy Day season through the lens of its musical anthems. This will be followed by a short closing service and the ritual changing of the Torah mantles to their white High Holy Day covers.

 Erev Rosh Hashanah Service - in the Sanctuary
Led by Rabbi Gurevitz and Cantorial Soloist Lisa Marcus Jones.
Followed by a Lobby Oneg to welcome in the New Year with sweetness.

Monday September 26 8:45-10:45 am
Child Watch (ages 2-5) - at Congregation B'nai Shalom
Led by our Early Childhood Coordinator, Alissa Schimmel, and her staff, this program will take place in our early childhood classrooms and, weather permitting, outside and will include movement, play, songs, crafts, and so much more!

 Rosh Hashanah Morning Service for adults and teens - in the Sanctuary
This will be a more traditional service for adults and students 12 years or older led by Rabbi Gurevitz, Rabbi Eiduson, and Cantorial Soloists Sharon Brown Goldstein and Lisa Marcus Jones.

 Rosh Hashanah Morning Youth Program (Grades 1-6) - in the Social Hall
Led by Rabbi Eiduson and Debbi Morin, along with our student Madrichim. Please register at https://www.cbnaishalom.org/form/5783-grades1-6

 Rosh Hashanah Early Childhood Service - in the Social Hall
Bring your little ones to hear Rabbi Eiduson and Cantorial Soloist Sharon Brown Goldstein share stories and blessings, and hear the Shofar. Guests of CBS, please register at https://www.cbnaishalom.org/form/5783-earlychildhood. CBS Members do not need to register.

11:30 am-1:15 pm  Rosh Hashanah Choir Service - in the Sanctuary
The service will be led by Rabbi Gurevitz, Rabbi Eiduson, and Cantorial Soloists Sharon Brown Goldstein and Lisa Marcus Jones. An opportunity for Tashlich will follow the service. Available on Livestream.
1:30-2:00pm

Tashlich ritual - at Lake Chauncey, Lyman Street.
Led by members of the congregation.

3:00 pm-3:45 pm

 Family Service - K-8 - outdoors in the Hastings School Field
Families are welcome to join us at this Rosh Hashanah service designed for our Religious School aged students. The service will be led by Rabbi Gurevitz and Rabbi Eiduson.

In case of inclement weather, this service will be moved indoors to the Sanctuary. 
An opportunity for Tashlich will follow this service.

4:00 pm  Tashlich ritual and Family Picnic - at Lake Chauncey, Lyman Street.
Led by Rabbi Gurevitz.

 Rosh Hashanah Day 2 Service - in the Sanctuary

Tuesday October 4 7:30-9:00 pm  Kol Nidre - Traditional Service in the Sanctuary
 Led by Rabbi Eiduson and Cantorial Soloist Lisa Marcus Jones. Available on Livestream.
 Reflective Kol Nidre - Creative Service in the Social Hall
 In this service we focus on the essence of the liturgy, including the central anthems such as Kol Nidre, Avinu Malkeinu, Ashamnu. We include less liturgy overall as Rabbi Gurevitz and Cantorial Soloist Sharon Brown Goldstein highlight a key theme each year that  weaves through the service to invite congregants into a more personal and meditative start to this holiest day of the year. Note: Joshua Gordon will play Kol Nidre on cello in both services.
