Friday, May 2 - Reflective Shabbat Service and Dinner
Our celebration weekend will begin with a Reflective Shabbat service – the musical and meditative service that Rabbi Gurevitz created and introduced to our congregation two years ago. The service will be followed by an optional community Shabbat dinner with guest speaker, Rabbi Marcia Plumb, one of Rabbi Gurevitz’ long-time mentors and teachers. Rabbi Plumb will be sharing some of the ways that we can bring Jewish spiritual practice into our lives. RSVP at:

Saturday, May 3 - Congregational Morning Minyan - 8:00am
Shabbat morning minyan in the Beit Midrash, led by Rabbi Gurevitz, who will chant Torah in honor of her 13th year at Congregation B'nai Shalom!

Saturday, May 3 - 6:30pm - 10:00pm - Get ready to Party Like It's 1985!

Rabbi Rachel's Bat Mitzvah celebration continues in our newly renovated Social Hall with a live DJ, dancing, photo booth, delicious hors d’oeuvres, an ice cream sundae bar, and many fun surprises! A very special guest will join us – CBS's founding rabbi, Debra Hachen.

Sunday, May 4 - Religious School Students honor Rabbi Gurevitz - 11:00am
Immediately following the CBS Annual Meeting, all are invited to join our religious school students in a special ceremony honoring Rabbi Rachel.
