Early Childhood Education

The goal of our early childhood programs is to increase family connections to the congregation and to regular practice, incorporating Jewish tenets and ritual within the home and family. Many of our Early Childhood programs and all community events are open to all. Connect with other Congregation B'nai Shalom families with young children for discussion and play dates.

We Have Programs for Your Family!

Summer is here, and folks are starting to regather again. We're launching an outdoor, casual, come-as-you-are, opportunity to meet up with a few other families with young kids to celebrate Shabbat.
Bring a picnic blanket and some snacks. Kids can play in our fenced-in playground area, adults can shmooze. We'll provide a short gathering time to welcome in Shabbat with story and song.

All are welcome!

PJ Library

PJ Library is a program of the Harold Grinspoon Foundation, made possible through partnerships with philanthropists and local Jewish organizations. Today, families in hundreds of communities across the United States and Canada are able to explore the timeless core values of Judaism through books and music. Through a partnership between Congregation B’nai Shalom and PJ Library, we mail high-quality Jewish children’s literature and music to our families on a monthly basis – free of charge.

All Congregation B’nai Shalom member families with children from age six-months through eight years of age are welcome to enroll.
