Intro to Judaism: 16 week series begins

7:00 PM - 9:00 PMTemple Emanuel Sinai, WorcesterThis course is for all who wish to learn more about Judaism, or get a refresher on the basics. It is for Jews and non-Jews. The course can provide a foundation for those interested in conversion to Judaism, when accompanied with additional learning and practice as determined with your sponsoring rabbi. It is being team taught by Rabbis Gurevitz and Eiduson of Congregation B'nai Shalom in Westborough, along with Rabbi Swarttz of Beth Tikvah Synagogue (Westborough), Rabbi Fellman of Beth Israel (Worcester), and Rabbi Cohen of Temple Emanuel-Sinai (Worcester). Classes will be held in Worcester and Westborough - please check the calendar listing for the location of each session. The course is free for members of the four sponsoring congregations (Temple Emanuel-Sinai, Congregation Beth Israel, Congregation B’nai Shalom, and Beth Tikvah Synagogue). The course fee is $150 for all others, payable in full online or by check on November 10 (However, no-one will be turned away for financial reasons; please speak privately with one of the rabbis if a financial accommodation is needed).
