As we approach the 50th year of this landmark moment, we are delighted to welcome Rabbi Priesand for an evening of stories and reflections on her experiences in the rabbinate.

MORE ABOUT RABBI PRIESAND
Upon ordination in 1972, Rabbi Priesand first served as Assistant and then Associate Rabbi at Stephen Wise Synagogue, NYC. She later became the rabbi of Monmouth Reform Temple, NJ, from 1981-2006. She has served on numerous bodies representing Reform Judaism, several Jewish women's organizations, and is President of Interfaith Neighbors in her local community, providing rental and other assistance to people in need.
Rabbi Priesand is author of numerous works, including Judaism and the New Woman, and contributions to Women Rabbis: Exploration and Celebration, and a Treasury of Favorite Sermons by America's Leading Rabbis. Most recently she contributed to Sacred Calling: Four Decades of Women in the Rabbinate which won a National Jewish Book Award.
