All are welcome to one of two sessions focused on spiritually preparing for the High Holy Days. They will be stand-alone sessions, and you are welcome to attend one or both. Our session on Saturday, September 13th will lead into a short Selichot service ritual of High Holy Day musical anthems and the changing of our Torah covers to their white High Holy Day robes.

On Sept 2: We’ll explore some Hasidic texts that give us a window into the deeper spiritual practices and insights of the High Holy Day season. All are welcome.

On  Sept 13: Join us for a viewing and discussion inspired by the short documentary, ‘The Quilters.’ The film introduces us to a number of prisoners serving long or life sentences, and the work they do to create beautiful quilts for at-risk youth. Following the discussion program, we’ll end the evening with a short sanctuary ritual, introducing the anthems of the High Holy Days, and changing the Torah mantles to their white covers.
