Monday, October 6, 2025 14 Tishrei 5786

7:30 PM - 9:30 PMSocial Hall

What does Jewish tradition say about rights of immigrants? We are at a point of inflection in American immigration policy, with millions of people within our borders who fear deportation. Come explore Jewish texts that can help inform our perspectives on immigration and civil rights. Our Rabbinic intern from HUC will share his experiences in helping families from Afghanistan seeking security and lawful status. This will be an engaging discussion with a Q&A. Join us for a delicious Sukkot dinner followed by this wonderful opportunity to meet and learn from our rabbinic intern who brings learning, stories and insights from his experiences as an immigration lawyer to our annual Sukkot social action evening.

At the conclusion of the event, we will share opportunities to participate in a campaign to address immigrant rights in our state led by Reform Jewish congregations in Massachusetts through the Religious Action Center – Massachusetts
