Video Options

Congregation B'nai Shalom is now offering a variety of options for families celebrating their child becoming B'nai Mitzvah.

We have significantly upgraded our audio and video capabilities over the past two years, and now are able to provide all families with video streaming of the service, with enhanced video production and recording available as options.

All services will be livestreamed at no charge with fixed camera positions showing a wide shot of the bimah along with highlighted windows of the Rabbi and Cantorial Soloist. This is our standard / no charge option. Please be aware this option is unstaffed.  We try to make sure everything works correctly, but if there is a problem, there is no technical staff present to address them. We make a best effort to include the student in a window, but cannot guarantee. We will provide a downloadable video of the service for a fee.
We also offer an enhanced video package, with an on-site video producer. This livestreaming option includes multi-camera views, close-up shots of key moments during the service, and a downloadable video of the service.
For families desiring a more immersive experience for their guests attending online, Zoom can be added. This includes screens in the sanctuary so that you, your student, and your in-person guests will be able to see and interact with those joining via Zoom. You can also provide us with a slide show which can be showed to your Zoom guests as they arrive prior to the start of the service.

Please select one of the options below at least 30 days prior to the date of the service. Livestream and video services are provided on a 'best-effort' basis. Please address any questions to Executive Director Steve Winer
