Our Kol Nidre service in the sanctuary, led by Rabbi Eiduson and Lisa Marcus, begins with a rendition on the cello of Bruch’s Kol Nidre and is followed by a more traditional liturgy a capella. Our Kol Nidre service in the social hall, led by Rabbi Gurevitz and Sharon Brown Goldstein, includes musical instruments and takes a thematic approach to entering Yom Kippur with a more meditative service that dips into the traditional liturgy and provides space for personal reflection. We will also hear Bruch’s Kol Nidre during the service.

Yes! Tashlich is a short ritual that ends with scattering bird seeds into the water. You will also hear the shofar at this outdoor ceremony. We are gathering at Lake Chauncey Beach in Westborough on the 1st day of Rosh Hashanah at approximately 1:50 pm. There will be time following the ceremony for schmoozing.
We will be streaming all services from the sanctuary on our regular Livestream link, and the services held in the social hall will be streamed on our YouTube channel. Links to all will be available before the High Holy Days.

This ritual event will focus on the terrorist attack on Israel on October 7, remember those who were killed on that day, and those taken hostage. We will have an opportunity to reflect on the Israeli experience through poetry that has been written in Israel since October 7, traditional liturgy and contemporary music, and the stories of some of those who were killed. This sobering ritual will lead into a Yizkor (memorial service) that gives space for us to remember our own loved ones who have died and we will end this section of the afternoon with a ritual of healing through words and music, providing space to help us move to the closing part of the day with hope.
