Mimouna (Hebrew: מימונה) is a traditional Maghrebi Jewish celebration dinner, that currently takes place in Israel and other places around the world where Jews of Maghrebi heritage live. It is held the day after Passover, marking the return to eating hametz (leavened bread, etc.), which is forbidden throughout Passover.
