Etched In Glass

Saturday, November 23, 2019 25 Cheshvan 5780

7:00 PM - 9:00 PMSocial Hall

Join us for a presentation of the film Etched in Glass, as well as hear from local filmmaker Roger Lyons in paying tribute to Boston's own Steve Ross. Only 9 years old when he was first taken by the Nazis, Steve Ross miraculously survived 10 concentration camps. His experience in the camps as well as his memory of liberation when a kind American soldier showed him the compassion he hadn't seen in years shaped his life moving forward. While working with disadvantaged youth and establishing Boston's iconic Holocaust Memorial, Ross continued his tireless search for the kind soldier who changed his life. Presented by Congregation B'nai Shalom Brotherhood and Sisterhood, the Jewish Federation of Central Massachusetts, Boroughs Hadassah, and Beth Tikvah Synagogue.

A donation of $10/person is suggested to help cover program and security. Students free.
Any money left over will be donated to the Boston Holocaust Memorial.
