COVID-19 Emergency Appeal

At our major fundraising events the past few years, we have highlighted a ‘need’ as part of our annual fundraising events. Last year, for our 40th anniversary, it was the highly successful Friday Night Lights project, and in previous years has included new lobby furniture, and helping fund a roof replacement.

This year, what has come to be known at times as the “Rabbi’s Wish List”, a special fundraising effort at our annual major fundraising events, will be dedicated to the Rabbi Debra Hachen Caring Fund. This fund provides emergency money to help congregants in need pay rent, their electric bill, with supermarket gift cards to be used for food, and other emergency contingencies. We foresee an increasing need for these emergency funds and ask again for your help. And, if you are in crisis, please always remember that we are here to help.
