I would like to attend a morning service in person. What are my options?

What is the difference between the two Kol Nidre services?

Our Kol Nidre service in the sanctuary, led by Rabbi Eiduson and Sharon Brown Goldstein, begins with a rendition on the cello of Bruch’s Kol Nidre and is followed by a more traditional liturgy a capella. Our Kol Nidre service in the social hall, led by Rabbi Gurevitz and Lisa Marcus, includes musical instruments and takes a thematic approach to entering Yom Kippur with a creative service that dips into the traditional liturgy. We will also hear Bruch’s Kol Nidre during the service.

Will there be a community Tashlich ritual this year?

Yes!  Tashlich is a short ritual that ends with scattering bird seeds into the water. You will also hear the shofar at this outdoor ceremony. We are gathering at Lake Chauncey Beach in Westborough on the 1st day of Rosh Hashanah at approximately 1:50 pm. There will be time following the ceremony for "Tash-lick" (we'll provide the ice cream) and schmoozing. No registration is required.
