Following an abbreviated Shabbat service, all are invited to a new Shabbat experience - a post-service dinner and speaker program. For our first program we are exploring the interplay of cutting edge science and Jewish ideas. We welcome Dr. Joseph Shoer who will be joining us via zoom from Denver, CO, to talk about exploring outer space. Joseph grew up at Congregation B'nai Shalom. He is a spacecraft architect, designing for deep space exploration missions. This promises to be a fascinating conversation, not only about what we are learning from deep space probes, but also what we seek to learn about ourselves and our universe from these explorations.

The evening schedule is as follows:
